Report-election conferences in the committees of the Azerbaijan Electric Power and Electrotechnical Industry Workers’ Union in the Mingachevir Regional Electric Grid, Mingachevir Hydroelectric Power Station, Azerbaijan Thermal Electric Power Station, Ganja Regional Electric Grid, Shamkir Hydroelectric Power Station, Sheki Electric Power Station and Gabala Regional Electric Grid Limited Liability Companies and meetings were held.
At the events, the reports of trade union committees and inspection commissions on the work done in the past period were heard. It was reported that the financial, moral, socio-economic, household, recreation, health concerns of each member of the collective managing the complex energy system were always in the attention of both management and trade unions.
Trips were organized for employees and their family members to the picturesque regions of the Republic, and those in need were sent to sanatoriums for treatment. Problems and difficulties were also discussed at the events and proposals on their solution were made.
Reports on the work done at the events were assessed as satisfactory. Also, elections were held in trade unions of enterprises, a new composition of committees and inspection commissions was formed, and chairmen were elected.
It should be noted that the deputy chairman of ATUC, Chairman of the Republican Committee Musa Mirzayev, head of the Organization Department Shohrat Mustafayev and chairman of the United Trade Union Committee of “Azerenergy” OJSC Afruz Agayeva attended and made speeches at the conferences.
