The Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic presented holiday gifts to 112 children of Veterans.
A festive event entitled “colorful world of Children” dedicated to June 1 – International Children’s Day was held in Nakhchivan. The event was attended by state, government representatives, public organizations, kindergartens, music schools, creative teams, members of the public, children, parents. About 300 children marched across the so-called “Boyuk Bagh” area to the Ajami promenade, where the event was organized.
At the event organized with the support of the plenipotentiary representation of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Nakhchivan City executive power and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the dear memory of our national leader Heydar Aliyev, who always cared for children, and our martyrs who died for It was noted that the definition of care for children in our country as the main direction of state policy is associated with the name of our great leader Heydar Aliyev. Today, the state child policy is successfully continued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and first vice-president of the country, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. In our country, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is an integral part of it, measures are being taken to protect the rights and health of children, including children with special needs, their education, effective organization of leisure time, as well as revealing their talents. Holding such a grandiose event on the occasion of June 1-International Children’s Day is also an example of high care for children. Today’s festive event is also the result of educational events related to children held in all regions of the autonomous republic during the month.
Then, little seedlings of kindergartens operating in Nakhchivan sang poems, creative teams of Heydar Aliyev Children-Youth Creativity Center and children’s music schools performed interesting music and dance.
Within the framework of the event, gifts were presented to children of families of martyrs and veterans, children with limited health, pupils of Ordubad Boarding Secondary School by the fund for support to the provision of wounded and families of martyrs (“YASHAT” Foundation), the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs. The numbers of the newspaper “Maktabli”, published for teenagers and young people, the handicrafts of the Heydar Aliyev Children-Youth Creativity Center and other creative persons, collectives, and colorful stands aroused great interest in children. Catering services were also organized in the area to ensure the leisure and cultural recreation of the participants.
The event continued with the artistic composition of the groups of children’s music schools.
