A report-election conference was held in the trade union committee of the SOCAR Transport Department.
First, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
At the conference attended by Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers Jahangir Aliyev and Head of the Transport Department Aladdin Mammadov, the reports of the Chairman of the Committee Agil Karimov and the Chairman of the Inspection Commission Emin Huseynov were heard. In the report, the actions carried out by the Committee during the last period were reviewed once again, attention was directed to the creation and protection of healthy and safe working conditions in workplaces, strengthening of public control, providing employees with medical trips, organizing family vacations, as well as buying gift tickets to cultural and mass events. Special sensitive approach to the families of martyrs, veterans, war participants, provision of material and moral support, provision of food aid to working families in need during the pandemic were among these measures.
The reports of both the Chairman of the Committee and the Inspection Commission were positively evaluated by the conference participants. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers of Azerbaijan, Jahangir Aliyev, positively evaluated the work of the management and staff of the Transport Department, as well as the Trade Union Committee of the department. Agil Karimov was re-elected as the chairman of the committee with a unanimous opinion in the open vote. Later, the composition of the committee’s management board, members of the Inspection commission and representatives to the 6th Congress of the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Union were elected.
The main reason for the high mood at the conference was the fact that our territorial integrity was ensured by our brave Army under the leadership of our honorable President, our Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the joy and pride of our country’s reputation growing day by day.
