Agrarian Business Festival was held in Saatli district under the organization of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Farmers from Sabirabad, Imishli, Bilasuvar and other surrounding regions, as well as subordinate institutions of the Ministry, scientific research institutes, private companies, and local branches of banks participated in the festival.
Local farmers got acquainted with the agricultural machinery, modern irrigation systems, seeds, fertilizers, samples offered by various production companies and received information about the rules of use and technical indicators of the machinery.
Opening the festival, the head of the Saatli District Executive Authority, Elmir Bagirov, spoke about the state’s support for the development of agriculture in the country, and talked about the achievements made in the fields of cotton growing, grain growing, and beekeeping, which operate in the Saatli district.
Speaking at the festival, Fuad Mammadov, chairman of the Agrarian Field Workers Trade Union, spoke about the importance of the event, the importance of meetings between producers and consumers, and stressed that trade unions are always ready to support this process.
