On May 30, the report-election meeting of the Trade Union was held at the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.
First, the participants of the event laid fresh carnations in front of the memorial corner of Mahsun Zahir oghlu Baghirzade, martyred in the Patriotic War of ANAS, in the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center.
Director of the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center Mehman Karakhanoglu, Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences, Associate Professor Sanan Hasanov, Deputy Chairman Shahla Amirova, Leading Researcher of the Institute of History and Ethnology of ANAS, Ilham Hasanov, Doctor of Philosophy in History, and the staff of the center took part in the event.
Speaking at the event, the director of the center, Mehman Aliyev, emphasized that the activities of the Trade Union Organization play an important role in ensuring the protection of labor, social, economic rights and legal interests of employees. The director also noted that new social programs in this field are being prepared and implemented by the state.

A new chairman was elected to the Trade Union Organization of the Regional Scientific Center. With the unanimous decision of the center’s employees, Namik Gasimov, the chairman of the Trade Union Organization and committee members were elected to the new staff.
In the end, the chairman of the ANAS Free Trade Union Sanan Hasanov drew attention to the ongoing innovations and reforms of the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center, and wished success to the newly elected chairman and committee members in the field of strengthening the social protection of employees.
