On May 31, the XVIII report-election conference of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers was held.

As you said with great foresight – ” We must turn our material values and economic potential into human capital. Your conceptual provision” literacy and knowledge of a person determines his future life and serves the comprehensive development of the country ” today gives its successful results. We are pleased to inform you that as a result of your decrees and orders to strengthen the social protection of education workers and students in recent years, salaries of education workers, scholarships of students and graduate students have increased many times, hundreds of education workers have received Presidential Scholarships, awarded Orders and medals, and awarded honorary titles. The programs you have approved related to education have covered the improvement of the infrastructure of schools, the provision of modern equipment, textbooks, information and communication technologies, the provision of professional personnel, the organization of education of children with special needs, the disclosure of talented youth, the renewal of preschool education, the improvement of technical vocational education, the education of Azerbaijani youth abroad, it focuses on Sustainable Development and the creation of equal opportunities for those who study. Hundreds of new schools have been built, reconstructed, equipped with modern teaching equipment, computerized, new textbooks reflecting national and moral values have been prepared in our country. Azerbaijan is the only country in the CIS where all pupils are provided with free textbooks on your instructions.
Today you are in charge of sovereign Azerbaijan, where the dreams of our compatriots have become reality. It was you who realized our dreams in connection with our native Karabakh for 30 years. We can say with confidence that the spirit of our national leader Heydar Aliyev is happy. Because his dreams about Karabakh were realized as a result of your successful military-political tactics as the Supreme Commander-in-chief, your successful activity as a leader whose signature is complemented by the word, and our people gained victory under your leadership.
