National leader Heydar Aliyev defined the provision of citizen welfare as one of the highest goals of the state and laid the foundation of the state’s social policy model. Continuous social projects are being implemented in our country by the order of our President, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who has successfully continued this policy. Regular delivery of gifts to low-income families on significant days and holidays is also an important component of such social projects.

On May 10, on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) gave gifts to 1,200 low-income families in Nakhchivan.

The Chairman of ATUC, MP of the Milli Majlis Sattar Mohbaliyev, authorized representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli and chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Gazanfar Abdullayev took part in the gift giving ceremony.

It was informed that gifts for 1,200 low-income families living in the city of Nakhchivan and the regions of the Autonomous Republic consist of various food products.
