The final match of the Football Championship dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held among the students of the Academy with the support of the Sports Club operating under the Student Youth Organization of the Academy of the State Customs Committee and the Trade Union of Customs workers of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the selection rounds of the competition with the participation of 13 teams, the “La Masia” team, which qualified for the final stage, became the winner of the championship. “Azizli” team took II place and “Santos” team took III place in the competition. The winners were awarded with cups and medals by the leadership of the Academy.
Speaking at the end, the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov spoke about the role of sports in the physical and moral development of the younger generation and highly appreciated the participation of students of the Academy in such sports competitions.
