On May 21, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev met with members of the Council of International Trade Unions Confederation of oil and gas construction workers.
Welcoming the guests, the chairman of ATUC highly appreciated the activities of The International Confederation of Trade Unions of Oil and Gas Construction and the projects implemented by him. He said that the organization is doing important work to establish permanent mutual relations between member organizations, to exchange best practices, to develop and present consolidated positions on global trade union and public political platforms.
Speaking about the activities of the trade unions of Azerbaijan, Sattar Mohbaliyev spoke about the steps taken in recent years in our country to protect labor rights and create decent working conditions. He also touched upon the International Relations of ATUC. He informed that the organization headed by him is a member of the International Confederation of Trade Unions, the Confederation of all-union unions and the Council of Turkish state Trade Unions, is invited to all events held by the organizations and takes an active part in their work.
