On May 17, the report-election meeting of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS was held.
Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Ilham Mammadzade, Deputy Director of Scientific Affairs, Doctor of History Eynulla Madatli, Scientific Secretary, Doctor of Philosophy Sevinj Hasanova, Deputy Chairperson of the Union of Free Colleagues of ANAS Shahla Amirova and the Institute employees participated.
After announcing the agenda of the meeting, the chairman of the trade union committee, Ilham Mammadzadeh, gave the floor to Asya Ahmadova. Asya Ahmadova gave detailed information about the work done during 2017-2024, which she chaired the committee.
Then, according to the agenda, Chairman of the Inspection Commission, Doctor of Philosophy, Muhammad Jabrayilov, presented the report prepared by the commission on the work done by the committee. Both reports were deemed satisfactory.
Also, by open voting, the chairman of the committee, members of the composition and Audit Commission were elected. Asya Ahmadova was re-approved by the institute staff as chairman of the committee.
Participating in the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Free Trade Union of Anas Shahla Amirova spoke about the reforms carried out in the trade union system of the Academy, the tasks ahead and the work to be done, and answered the questions asked.
Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Anas, doctor of philosophy, professor Ilham Mammadzade said that the trade union should strengthen the social protection of employees, ensure their cultural recreation, etc. he stressed the need for further activity in the field.
