On April 9, with the joint organization of the ANAS Presidium and the Free Trade Union, on the eve of the holy Ramadan holiday, a nationwide event was held under the theme “EVERYTHING FOR THE COUNTRY” with the participation of veterans and families of martyrs.
The Presidium of ANAS, including scientific and public organizations, families of veterans and martyrs, managements of scientific research institutes, Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Trade Union of ANAS and its organizations, Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Women’s Council of ANAS, The chairmen and deputies of the first territorial organizations of the National People’s Republic of Azerbaijan, operating in the institutes and organizations of ANAS, participated.
First, the National Anthem was played, and the dear memory of our heroes who died for our Motherland and Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated with a minute’s silence. The President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbayli, who opened the event with an introductory speech, congratulated Veterans, Martyrs’ families and the academy community on the occasion of Holy Ramadan. He said that with the will of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Muzaffar, Azerbaijan, with its strong goals, is developing further. The President of ANAS commented on the responsibility of scientists and the priority development directions of the academy. He drew attention to the role of our state’s attention to the families of veterans and martyrs in our solidarity.
At the event, a video titled “Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who won the information war” was shown. Sanan Hasanov, Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, made a speech and expressed his gratitude to the leadership of ANAS for the support in holding such an event on the eve of Holy Ramadan. He highlighted the role of scientific and social organizations in our solidarity in the realities after the Patriotic War. Participant of the Patriotic War, reserve senior lieutenant Radif Mustafayev, Chairman of the first Territorial organization of the NAP of the Nizami Institute of Literature of ANAS Marziyya Najafova, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS Elmir Babayev, Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology Asya Ahmadova, first of the Bakikhanov Institute of History NAP Chairman of the regional organization Bakhtiyar Ahmadov, scientific worker of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology Khanimaga Ismayilova congratulated the participants on the occasion of Holy Ramadan Holiday. They explained with facts that they are closely united around the wise policy of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the attention our state shows to the families of martyrs and veterans. Vice President of ANAS Irada Huseynova spoke about the importance of the event on the eve of the holiday of solidarity, health and mercy of our people and analyzed the unity of our people around the Commander-in-Chief. In the end, Geray Asadov, a reserve officer and a participant in the First and Second Karabakh War, spoke on behalf of the families of the Veterans and Martyrs, and spoke about the close unity of our army around the Commander-in-Chief and his own battle path. He expressed his gratitude to the head of state and the leadership of the Academy.
The book “victory – victorious Supreme Commander-In-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the information war”, consisting of Mr. Ilham Aliyev’s speeches in the Patriotic War by Mehman Ismayilov, chairman of the Trade Union of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was presented to the participants at the event.
