The XIX Conference of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held on April 25. First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev welcomed the participants and declared the conference open.
In accordance with the regulations, the composition of the Mandate commissions of the Conference and the members of the Secretariat were selected and approved daily. 7 issues were included in the agenda.
Khatira Ibrahimli, deputy chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, who gave a report, spoke about the measures implemented by the Council in the past period. It was emphasized that many important works were done by the Council during this period and great achievements were made.
Then the speakers gave information about the inter-report results of the previous period.
Later, organizational issues were discussed at the conference, and the participants voted unanimously to re-elect Gazanfar Abdullayev as the chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan MR.
The chairman of the council said that the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will further work on the basis of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “on Trade Unions”, the principles of the Charter of the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the instructions and recommendations of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, the chairman of ATUC, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev congratulated the chairman of the Council on his re-election to the post of Chairman and gave relevant instructions to the members of the Council on more efficient organization of their work and wished them success in their activities.
