On March 13, the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held a meeting on the goals and objectives for the future.
Chairman of the Council Gazanfar Abdullayev made a speech at the meeting and informed about the issues put on the agenda at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) on March 12.
The deputy chairman of ATUC said that the council should strengthen control over the issues of organizing the reception of citizens, solving the problems that concern them on the spot, timely consideration of applications and complaints, and objectively comprehensive investigation of incoming appeals.
Stressing the importance of being sensitive to the appeals of the families of martyrs and veterans, the Chairman of the Council noted that on March 14, with the support of the AGS, the Council will distribute food aid to 1,200 low-income families, including families of martyrs and veterans living in the Autonomous Republic.
It was also stressed that within the framework of the ”Year of Solidarity for a Green World“ on March 16, in order to create new green lanes, improve the environmental environment by Council staff in the territory” Daridag ” a tree planting campaign will be held and 1,000 trees will be planted.
At the end of the meeting, discussions were held with employees of the united trade union Committee of the Autonomous Republic, the city and the district on a number of important issues, and proposals were heard.
