On March 16, within the framework of the “year of solidarity for the Green World”, employees of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held a tree planting action in the territory of “Daridag” of Julfa region.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Council Gazanfar Abdullayev spoke about the importance of preserving the environment. He said that by encouraging people to plant trees, it is possible to achieve the reproduction of greenery and the restoration of ecological balance.
The chairman of the council assessed the implementation of such educational events as a contribution to the promotion of care for nature.
More than 100 employees of the United Trade Union Committee of the Autonomous Republic, cities and regions were planted 1000 almond trees within the framework of the event. The planted seedlings were watered and cared for.
