On March 14, chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev and chairman of Trade Unions Council of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gazanfar Abdullayev met with veterans of “Nakhchivan Veterans” Public Union.
Speaking at the meeting, the chairman of ATUC said that we owe the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War to the victorious Supreme Commander-In-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, especially the Azerbaijani Soldier, our martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives in the battles.
It was emphasized that even after years, our people will never forget their martyrs and will always remember their dear memories with deep respect.
Then, chairman of the” Nakhchivan Veterans ” Public Union Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the care and attention of our state to the families of martyrs and veterans, and stressed that the meeting of the chairman of ATUC with veterans is a pride.
At the meeting, the deputy of the Milli Majlis had a sincere conversation with the veterans and was closely interested in their care and problems.
The veterans expressed their satisfaction with the attention paid by our state.
Later, a corner talking about the heroic way of our martyrs was viewed at the” Nakhchivan Veterans ” Public Union and a memorial photo was taken with the veterans.
At the end, with the support of ATUC, the council distributed food aid to 119 families of veterans living in the autonomous republic.
