On December 7, the VII Assembly of the “Kand Gida Ish” Trade Union Federation was held. First, the participants of the Assembly commemorated the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the Motherland with a minute’s silence. The Chairman of the Federation, Tofig Guliyev, made an introductory speech and informed the participants about the issue on the main agenda of the Assembly – “Participation of the trade union in the implementation of the Country Program on Decent Labor of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals and the upcoming tasks”.
In addition, veterans who became active participants in the Spartakiadasan of rural athletes, which is traditionally held annually with the support of the Federation, were awarded prizes and honorary diplomas. The winners spoke about patriotism in their speeches and thanked the country’s leadership and the Federation for their attention and care.
Deputy Chairman of the Federation Tahmasib Aliyev and head of the Finance Department Ismayil Allazov spoke at the event.
At the end, the chairman of the Federation Tofig Guliyev congratulated the Assembly participants, as well as all members of the trade unions of Azerbaijan on the upcoming World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year and wished them success in the next year.
It should be noted that the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Gara Agayev also attended the Assembly.
