It can be said that these achievements are manifested at all stages and levels of education. Today, our country has institutions of higher education that meet modern requirements and provide high-quality education, standing in line with the prestigious universities of the world.”
Sattar Mohbaliyev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), member of the Milli Majlis, expressed these views to the mass media.
According to him, the construction of modern educational infrastructure is a priority in the reconstruction and restoration works carried out in East Zangezur and Karabakh freed from occupation: in the “I State Program on the Great Return to the territories freed from occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan” general and pre-school educational institutions, vocational and secondary education ensuring the operation of enterprises, establishing branches of the relevant higher education institutions of our country, as well as organizing trainings for the purpose of increasing digital knowledge and skills, etc. measures are planned.Of course, the realization of all these will make significant contributions to the further development of education in those areas, as well as in our entire country, and will play an important role in training and education of our youth in the spirit of patriotism, acquiring modern scientific knowledge, and training them as highly qualified personnel.”
The Chairman of ATUC noted that the issuance of the decree on the establishment of Karabakh University in Khankendi by the head of our state, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, is an extremely important and historical event: “Because the successful completion of construction works in Eastern Zangezur and Karabakh, economic progress, future development in all fields, in these areas the application of advanced standards and high technologies has revealed the need to train highly qualified personnel and train professional specialists.
Therefore, the establishment of Karabakh University is a timely step. We are sure that in the near future, the successful operation of this higher education institution will be ensured and the personnel potential of our country will be enriched. It will also make great contributions to the promotion of the region where it is located, the development of tourism, and the provision of employment.”
