On December 24, on the occasion of the birthday of the head of State Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the upcoming December 31-the day of solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the new year, 4,300 low – income families living in the regions of the Republic, including families of martyrs and veterans, were sent off by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (ATUC).
In addition, 1,250 families of the same category living in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be given holiday gifts.
Thus, the number of families to which ATUC has provided assistance since 2020 has exceeded 70 thousand.
It should be noted that trade unions and their local organizations also provide food assistance to families of the category we mentioned in all regions on the eve.
ATUC chairman, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, who attended the farewell ceremony, told reporters that trade unions always treat vulnerable population groups with care, carry out various measures to meet their social needs on all holidays and other significant days, including gifts and gifts: “this has already become a tradition in our country.
