On December 24, the authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Fuad Najafli, the chairman of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions, Sattar Mohbaliyev, and the deputy chairman of ATUC, the chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Gazanfar Abdullayev, visited Agbulag Recreation Center and were interested in the state of preparation for winter tourism.
It was reported that the Ski Center here has a ski slope with a total length of 1600 meters and a width of 30 meters, a cable car, cafes, artificial snow systems, and a skiing school. Necessary cleaning works were carried out in the lanes and canals, as well as in the area intended for children’s entertainment. Currently, artificial snow cover is created in the area by means of 26 fixed, 2 moving artificial snow spraying devices.
There are 120 sets of clothing for all age groups, as well as special sets of clothing for skiers. This year, 60 new sleds were purchased for children, each of 4 snowmobiles was inspected and put in good condition. Also, the cable system, which is one of the center’s main infrastructures, was inspected and necessary security measures were taken. 58 seats with 4 seats each have been installed on the 952-meter-long cableway. New closed cabins have also been ordered for installation on the ropeway. There are cafes at the beginning and end of the cable car.
The authorized representative also looked at the newly created infrastructure at the Ski Center. It was reported that 8 new coupes, 3 of which were VIP, were put into use in the area. 2 of the VIP rooms are for 6, and 1 is for 12 people. A new store has also been opened for the convenience of guests. Products are offered here at market prices.
