On December 11, a meeting of the General Confederation of Trade Unions Council
was held in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
The delegation of Azerbaijani trade unions led by the chairman of the
Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, vice-president of the Confederation
of General Trade Unions, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev participated in the event.
At the meeting, organizational issues were considered, the financial report was
heard, and changes to the charter were discussed.
It should be noted that the General Confederation of Trade Unions unites 10
national trade union centers of the CIS countries and 23 international trade union
associations. ATUC has been a member of this organization since 2004.
