An event on giving winter clothes to schoolchildren in need of social care was held at the Heydar Aliyev children and Youth Creativity Center, December 1. Gunay Malikgizi, responsible for media issues, Ramiz Jafarov, deputy chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ramila Seyidova, chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Deputy Minister of education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elkhan Najafov and Deputy Minister of labour and social protection of population of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Nijat Babayev spoke about the successful results of the state child policy implemented in the Autonomous Republic.
It was noted that consistent measures are being taken today for the comprehensive development of children of all categories. Events related to the protection of their rights and health, the organization of their social protection, the effective organization of their leisure time, the disclosure of their talents, as well as monitoring, seminars are held.
The complex measures carried out in the Autonomous Republic have already yielded results, and the foundation of a new stage has been laid for the integration of children with limited health into society. Today, the provision of children in need of social care with winter clothes is a clear example of state care for children of this category.
264 children who have lost both parents or are deprived of parental care, single-parent, disabled, low-income, multiple children, martyrs, children of veterans, by the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 40 children by Family, Women and Children’s Problems of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic The State Committee gave winter clothing to 150 children by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In total, 454 children in need of special care were provided with warm winter clothes.
It should be noted that a similar event was organized in all regions of the autonomous republic. Thus, 122 children in Nakhchivan city, 69 in Sharur region, 99 in Babek region, 28 in Ordubad region, 55 in Julfa region, 40 in Kangarli region, 14 in Shahbuz region and 27 in Saderak region were provided with winter clothes.
