On November 1, Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), MP of Milli Majlis, Sattar Mohbaliyev and heads of ATUC member organizations visited the “Agbulag” recreation center belonging to the Confederation, located in Aghbulag village of Shahbuz region.
Sattar Mohbaliyev inspected the building rooms, cottages, as well as the canteen and kitchen where vacationers stayed in the center, got acquainted with the conditions created for tourists to relax, and walked around the territory.
It was reported that the recreation center is located at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level and has 38 rooms that can accommodate 76 people. The rooms are equipped with satellite TV, internal telephone, mini bar, safe, bathroom (shower, shower cabin), WC, hair dryer.

In addition, there is a mini football-volleyball field, an amusement park for children, a market, a postal service and other services.
The chairman of ATUC also visited the ski center near the recreation center. It was reported that the center has a ski slope with a total length of 1600 meters and a width of 30 meters, a cableway, artificial snow systems, and a skiing school. Here, tourists can conveniently rent clothing and accessories – jackets, snowboards, sledges, ski boots, ski poles, skis, helmets, glasses, gloves and pants at the cheapest prices. In the center, qualified instructors provide training for skiers of different levels of training and explain safety rules. The main infrastructure of the center is the cable car.
The height difference between the starting point and the final stop of the 952-meter-long ropeway is 267 meters. 58 seats with 4 seats each have been installed on the cableway. Cafes operating at the beginning and end of the cable car offer guests quick food and a variety of coffee, tea and other beverages.
