In 1919, the Metin Turkish nation united closely around Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and began a great struggle for the liberation of Turkey, and every representative of the people acted as a soldier. This bloody struggle against the invaders lasted three years. The tenacious Turkish people emerged triumphantly from the Sakarya war in 1921 and from the “Great Taarruz” operation in 1922. Finally, in 1923, on October 2, he completely cleared the territory of the country from the invading enemy, and on October 29, under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, he founded the Republic of Turkey. The whole world witnessed the steel will of the Turkish people, the invincibility and heroism of their soldier. Today, the people of Turkey celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic with great enthusiasm and pride.
