Relations between trade unions of Turkish states are expanding

A meeting on “Unity and social dialogue” was held among the trade unions of agricultural and food industry workers of the Turkish states in Istanbul.

Turkish Agricultural Workers Trade Union – at the invitation of Tarim-Ish Chairman İlhami Polat, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Agricultural and Food Industry Workers Trade Union Federation Tofig Guliyev organized the event, the chairmen of the relevant institutions of Turkey, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan and responsible employees participated.

Chairman of Toleyis Trade Union Cemail Bakindi and Chairman of “Tarım-Ish” İlhami Polat greeted the guests and expressed their confidence that this event will be effective for future activities.

At the meeting, the importance of the unity of the Turkish states was mentioned, and the realization of these relations in the trade union was emphasized.

The representatives of the Turkish Trade Unions mentioned in their speeches that the Turkic-speaking countries have a culture and are proud to receive guests in their country. In their speeches, the representatives of the trade unions of the Republic of Turkey specifically mentioned the fact that Turkey is a brotherly country and stands by Azerbaijan in the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict and Azerbaijan’s brilliant victory. These positions are an indication of how important and useful cooperation is for establishing strong relations between Turkic-speaking countries.

The agenda, place and time of the future meeting were also discussed at the event. Every organization has promised to work hard so that this union does not remain on paper and continues to grow stronger in the future.

Vice-president of the Eurasian Federation of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and tourism workers and chairman of the Trade Union Federation of Agricultural and Food Industry Workers of Azerbaijan Tofig Guliyev made a speech at the event. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of cooperation between trade unions of Turkic-speaking countries. In addition, he noted that we will do our best to ensure that such measures are sustainable.

According to the program of the event, the guests got acquainted with the work experience of the unions and at the end a meeting was held with the chairman of the “Turk-ish” Confederation Ergun Atalay.
