A delegation led by the chairman of the Turkish trade union “Turk-Tarim Orman Sen” Ahmad Demirchi, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, met with the chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev.
At the meeting, the sides talked about the fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as the relations between the trade unions of the two countries, the work done to further strengthen cooperation and future prospects.
The chairman of ATUC said that the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are based on the principles of brotherhood and are established on solid foundations in all fields, and thanks to the purposeful policies implemented by President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, they are reaching a higher level, and in a number of fields, they are moving to a new level in terms of quality.
The chairman of ATUC Sattar Mohbaliyev informed the guest about the activities of Azerbaijan trade unions, implemented projects and future prospects, spoke about relations with trade unions of Turkey, recalled the mutual visits, organized meetings, signed documents that took place over the past period and emphasized their benefits.
Sattar Mohbaliyev also touched on the intensifying relations between trade unions of Turkish states in recent years. He also said that the Organization will further deepen comprehensive cooperation between the trade unions of these two countries, and will make great contributions to the joint protection of workers’ rights and interests.
Thanking for the warm reception, the chairman of “Türk-Tarım Orman Sen” Ahmet Demirchi also touched on the mutually beneficial and strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. He said that the relations between the trade unions of our countries are developing day by day, mutual visits are organized and regular exchange of experience is carried out. It was emphasized that efforts will be made to further develop these relations in the future.
Other issues of interest were also discussed at the meeting. At the end, mutual gifts were presented and a commemorative photo was taken.
