“The invincible Azerbaijan Army, which won great victories under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, successfully completed a greater mission – the anti-terrorist measures carried out in the Karabakh economic region of our country and forced the separatists to surrender. This once again showed the strength and power of our Army. He proved that the soldiers and officers of Azerbaijan are capable of concluding any task with victory. This is the victory of the Azerbaijani people as a whole. Our people, as usual, became one, became whole, turned into an iron fist and united around their President and showed that strength is together.”
Sattar Mohbaliyev, chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, deputy of the Milli Majlis, said these thoughts to mass media.

The defeated and deserters did not withdraw the remnants of their army from the territories of Azerbaijan, illegal armed formations were not disarmed, they regularly intervened in the internal affairs of our country, resorted to various armed provocations, continued mine terror, provided comprehensive support for separatism, etc. In short, they were not interested in normalizing relations, again and again falling behind their aggressive intentions. Of course, Azerbaijan’s patience is not inexhaustible. Therefore, our country chose this path and brought the separatists to their knees,” the MP said.
“Meanwhile, I would like to touch on one issue. A number of countries have issued statements criticizing local anti-terrorist measures carried out by our Armed Forces in Karabakh. Of course, such empty and pointless statements will neither divert Azerbaijan from its path nor divert it from its goal. According to the words of our head of state Mr. Ilham Aliyev, no one can talk to us in the language of oppression. Azerbaijan does not interfere in the internal affairs of any state. “Foreign countries have no right to interfere in our internal affairs,” added the chairman of ATUC.
