Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev is on a visit to Uzbekistan.
On September 20, the Chairman of ATUC, Sattar Mohbaliyev, and the Chairman of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation, Gudratulla Rafigov, visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent and laid flowers in front of the monument in memory of the genius.
ATUC chairman Sattar Mohbaliyev and his accompanying persons visited the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev. The chairman got acquainted with the activities of the Center and met with the representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora organization.
Then, the Chairman of ATUC, Sattar Mohbaliyev, who came to the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation, met with the members of the Scientific Council, faculty and students of the higher educational institution. Speaking at the event, Sattar Mohbaliyev spoke about the existing relations between the republics of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the continuously developing mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields, as well as the relations between the trade unions of our countries. At the event, Sattar Mohbaliyev was presented with the “Honorary Professor” diploma of the Academy.
Later, a meeting was organized in the building of the Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation. At the meeting, the chairman of the Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation, Gudratulla Rafigov, and the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, Sattar Mohbaliyev, spoke about the fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as the existing relations between the two organizations, the work done in the direction of further strengthening of cooperation and future prospects.
Then a Memorandum on mutual cooperation was signed between the Trade Union Federation of Uzbekistan and ATUC.
It was reported that the Memorandum will expand the relations between UTUF and АTUC, as well as field trade unions, as a continuation of the previously signed documents between the institutions, and will establish a new stage in the relations.
At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on issues of mutual interest.At the end, ATUC chairman Sattar Mohbaliyev was presented with a badge of UTUF.
