A meeting of the Football Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held on July 31, 2023. The agenda of the meeting included the activities of the Football Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the work done, as well as the election of the new chairman of the federation. The issue of the election of the chairman of the federation was discussed at the meeting. Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gazanfar Abdullayev has been nominated for the presidency of the Football Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The proposal was accepted unanimously and Gazanfar Abdullayev was elected the chairman of the Football Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
