The winners of the Republican Spartakiad dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader H. Aliyev, held among the organizations belonging to the service area of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Administrations and Public Service Employees, were awarded.
The chief referee of the event, A. Mehtiyev, informed about the progress and results of the tournament at the event held at the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Administrations and Public Service Employees with the participation of the representatives of the winning teams of the Spartakiad in football, chess, checkers and table tennis and the chairmen of the trade union organization they represented.
As the winners of the football competitions, the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took the first place, the Ministry of Justice took the second place, and the team of the Heydar Aliyev Center took the third place.
The winner of the checkers competition was the State Migration Committee, the winner of the table tennis and chess competitions was the team of “International Bank of Azerbaijan” OJSC.
The team of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, which collected the most points for each competition in the general team account, finished the spartakiade in the 1st place.
Talking about the attention and care of national leader Heydar Aliyev to the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, the chairman of the Republican Committee, Hikmet Osmanov, expressed his satisfaction with the high performance of the spartakiade dedicated to the memory of the great leader and the members’ interest in these competitions.
At the end, awards and cash prizes were presented to each team that won the competitions.
