A seminar on “Strategic communications for trade unions during and after the crisis” is being held in Bakuriani, Georgia.
The seminar organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO) is attended by ILO representatives – Sergius Glovaskas, Gocha Alexandria and Mamadou Kaba, as well as the delegations of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia.
Our country is represented at the event by Gara Agayev, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (AHIK), Rashad Nasirov, Head of the Press and Public Relations Department, and Rauf Hajiyev, Acting Head of the department for the protection of workers’ labor and socio-economic interests.
At the event, there were speeches on ways to overcome crises and strengthening solidarity among trade unions, opinions and suggestions were voiced.
The Azerbaijani delegation also spoke at the seminar and informed about the ways out of the crisis and the work done by the trade unions of our country in this direction, including the steps taken during the pandemic.
