“The successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, which have unique fraternal relations, continues. The Turkish people, who gave the world a lesson in democracy and voted for development, once again elected a great political leader, the founder of Turkey’s modern development, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as president. Adhering to tradition, on June 12, the head of the brotherly country made his first state visit to Azerbaijan. I don’t think there is any explanation for this. This state visit shows that our relations are at the highest level, and our friendship and cooperation are irreversible.”
Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev said in his statement to mass media.
According to him, the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey reflect the interests of both states and the interests of our peoples: “in all issues, including domestic and foreign policy, solidarity between our countries is deeply rooted and they defend each other’s right positions on the international arena. Of course, the rise of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations to this level, which is an example for the world’s countries, is directly related to the name of Mr. Ilham Aliyev and Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The friendly relations between the two leaders have also spread and expanded bilateral relations.”
“The head of state who first visited the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan was Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This is one of the most remarkable events in the history of Azerbaijan’s independence. Also, the declaration on alliance relations, which is a historical document between the two brotherly countries, was signed in the city of Shusha, a symbol of Azerbaijan’s zeal and cradle of culture. By the way, this declaration brought the relations between the two countries to a new level and officially reached the peak of alliance. It is possible to see this alliance in politics, economic relations, implementation of energy and transport projects, culture, education, in the direction of building an army,” said the deputy of the Milli Majlis.
The chairman of ATUC added that this state visit of the President of Turkey to our country will expand our relations, strengthen our solidarity, which will increase the role of both countries as an effective power center on the world scale.
