On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of aviation workers organized the competitions on mini-football, running (1000 m), turnstile, lifting, backgammon and chess between structural divisions of “Azerbaijan Airlines” Closed Joint-Stock Company and organizations serving in the territory of Heydar Aliyev International Airport on April 26, ended on May 10.
On May 10, in the final match of the mini-football competitions, the mini-football team of the main Police Department in Air Transport won the first place, the team of the Main Directorate of Aviation Security won the second place, and the team of the flight Production Department won the third place.
In the end, Shamseddin Akhundov, vice-rector of the National Aviation Academy, congratulated the winning teams and presented the trophy to the owner in a ceremonial manner.
Each of the winning teams and athletes who won in different sports were awarded with money.
