Gifts were presented to 2,700 low-income families in Nakhchivan

With the attention and instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, continuous social projects are being implemented in our country. Regular delivery of gifts to low-income families on significant days and holidays is also an important component of such social projects.

As a continuation of these events, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan presented gifts to low-income families in Nakhchivan as well as other regions.

The authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Fuad Najafli, was informed that the gifts brought for low-income families living in the city of Nakhchivan and the regions of the autonomous republic, including families of martyrs and veterans, and families receiving targeted state social assistance, consist of various necessary food products. In total, assistance consisting of food parcels was organized for 2,700 families of relevant categories.

Chairman of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions, Sattar Mohbaliyev, said that this aid campaign is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader. Since 2022, assistance has been provided to more than 7,000 people of the relevant category in Nakhchivan. He noted that assistance will continue to be provided to families of the relevant category in Nakhchivan on all holidays.
