The Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers continues a series of events related to the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”. The next zone conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was held in the city of Sheki. The theme of the conference organized at the Shaki Heydar Aliyev Center was “Heydar Aliyev stage in the development of trade unions”.
At the event, Mirza Jafarzadeh, the deputy chairman of the National Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emil Rustamov, the head of the organization department, Zarina Javadova, the deputy head of the Sheki city executive power, Gunay Mahmudova, the deputy director of the Sheki-Zagatala Regional Education Department, Ujar, Yevlakh, Zardab, Goychay, Agdash, Shamakhi, representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Yevlakh, Zardab, The chairmen of Agsu, Mingachevir, Ismayilli, Gabala, Oguz, Gakh, Sheki, Zagatala, Balakan district committees and trade union activists participated.
The participants of the conference first laid flowers in front of the National Leader’s monument erected in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Sheki city. At the event, which began with the playing of the national anthem, the spirit of the Great Leader and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Mirza Jafarzadeh, the deputy chairman of the Republican Committee of the FTUAEW, who spoke at the meeting, said that 2023 was declared the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In this regard, the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions and its member trade unions have drawn up and are implementing a corresponding action plan. The Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers has also started holding events related to the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”. The zone conference is one of the series of events of the Republican Committee.
Then M. Jafarzadeh spoke about the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of trade unions in Azerbaijan. He noted that the continuous development of all areas in Azerbaijan, including the institution of trade unions, is connected with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Today, these ideas of Heydar Aliyev are successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, the most worthy heir of his spiritual and political legacy.
Later, at the conference, Zarina Javadova, deputy head of the Sheki city executive power, Gunay Mahmudova, deputy director of the Sheki-Zagatala Regional Education Department, Hafiz Karimov, chairman of the Ismayilli district committee of ATIAHI, Aybeniz Mammadova, director of the comprehensive high school No. 2 of Gakh district, Honored teacher, Zagatala district Rajab Alizade, Methodist of Education Sector, Gunel Abdullayeva, Methodist of Education Sector for Oguz region, and others spoke.
Then the “Who is Heydar Aliyev to me?” held by the Sheki district committee of FTUAEW among teachers in connection with the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. and the winners of the “Leader in Hearts” essay-writing competition held among students were awarded. Ziyafat Khasiyeva, the chairman of FTUAEW Sheki district committee, who spoke at the awarding ceremony, said that she thanked the participants and said that the district committee will continue such events throughout the year.
At the end of the event, students performed poems and songs, and dance were shown.
