A zone conference on “Heydar Aliyev stage in the development of trade unions” was held in Astara region together with the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan. Mirza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of FTUEWA, Emil Rustamov, Head of the Organization Department, Chairmen and activists of FTUEWA Lankaran, Astara, Lerik, Jalilabad, Yardimli, Masalli, Salyan, Hajigabul, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Imishli district committees and activists took part in the conference organized in Heydar Aliyev Center of the district.
The dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the integrity of our lands were commemorated at the conference.
Mirza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of FTUEWA, speaking at the conference, said that during the years when Great Leader Heydar Aliyev led the country, there was a serious change in the activity of trade unions, this institution began to operate on its own merits. The methods of administrative emirate in the activity of trade unions were ended, the powers of field trade unions were returned to themselves, the way was opened for initiative and integration into the world trade union system. Today, Heydar Aliyev’s ideas in this field are successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, the most worthy heir of his spiritual and political legacy.
After that, a video about National leader Heydar Aliyev was shown, the winner of the “Best Presentation” competition, Hasanli Leyla, a 10th-grade student of Astara City Secondary School No. 1, was listened to.
