A zone conference on “Heydar Aliyev stage in the development of trade unions” was held at the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University together with the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by Mirza Jafarzadeh, the deputy chairman of the Republican Committee of the National Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emil Rustamov, the head of the Organization Department, the chairmen and activists of the Western Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the University management, professors and students.
The dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the integrity of our lands were commemorated at the conference.
Zafar Gurbanov, acting rector of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University , gave the opening speech and gave information about volunteering activities at the university and the missions of youth organizations. He said that during the years when the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev led the country, a serious change occurred in the activity of trade unions, this institution began to operate on its own merits.
The methods of administrative emirate in the activity of trade unions were ended, the powers of field trade unions were returned to themselves, the way was opened for initiative and integration into the world trade union system.
Mirza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan, said that the continuous development of all fields in Azerbaijan, including the institution of trade unions, is connected with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Today, Heydar Aliyev’s ideas in this field are successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, the most worthy heir of his spiritual and political legacy.
Mahiyeddin Allahverdiyev, chairman of Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan Kalbajar district committee, Azad Bayramov, head of social sciences department of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Farida Zeynalova, third year student of computer engineering faculty, also spoke at the event.
Then a video about the activities of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of youth and education was shown to the conference participants.
Then the speakers talked about Heydar Aliyev’s work and decisions in the development of trade unions.
