On March 14, 2023, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev of September 29, 2022, H. Aliyev will hold a Round Table on the topic “Azerbaijan is the founder of legal state-building” at the Republican Gymnasium of Humanities named after S.C. Peshavari has been organized. First, the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was remembered by the participants. Chairman of ANAS Free Trade Union, Doctor of Law, Professor Habil Gurbanov spoke on the topic. The speaker said in his speech that the great leader Heydar Aliyev is also the founder of democratic and legal reforms in the independent state of Azerbaijan. The legal system, which was once destroyed and did not meet modern requirements, also entered the development path after the great leader came to power, state institutions operating in this field were reshaped in accordance with the highest standards. The Constitution of Azerbaijan, prepared under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev and adopted by a national referendum on November 12, 1995, by containing the principles of separation of powers, created a serious guarantee for the implementation of judicial and legal reforms that resonated with the demands of the times, including the qualitative renewal and modernization of the activities of prosecutor’s offices. H. Gurbanov’s memories of National leader Heydar Aliyev aroused special interest in our students.
Then Sinan Alizade and Aghayar Eminli, activists of the history club of the gymnasium, presented their speeches on “Heydar Aliyev and state building”.
In the end, Professor Habil Gurbanov answered the students’ questions and gave them his recommendations.
The chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Oriental Studies Institute of ANAS, PhD in history, associate professor Sübhan Talybli, the management of the gymnasium, and members of the Club participated in the round table.
