A presentation ceremony of the book “Heroic Educators” published at the initiative of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers was held.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, Deputy Minister of Science and education Firudin Gurbanov, member of the Board of “Yashat” Foundation poet Ramaldanov and education workers who participated in the war, the dear memory of the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Then a video dedicated to the memory of education workers who died in the 44-day Patriotic War was demonstrated.
Speaking at the event, ATUC chairman Sattar Mohbaliyev said that the Azerbaijani army began a triumphal march in order to liberate our occupied lands under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, President Ilham Aliyev, from September 2020, 27: “as a result of forty-four days of military operations, the Azerbaijani army destroyed the fortifications and armed forces Our victorious army has shown its strength and power to the whole world in 44 days. The chairman of the ATUC noted that more than 760 educators participated in the fighting in the Patriotic War: “21 of them were killed. We once again honor the memory of all our martyrs who died in the Patriotic War and bow to their souls. The people of Azerbaijan will always honor their memory”
