On March 7, the VI Plenum of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Transport, Communication and High Technology Workers of Azerbaijan was held.
The organizational issue was included in the agenda of the plenum.
Based on the voting results, Mushfig Amirov was elected the chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Transport, Communication and High Technology Workers, and Rashad Safarov was elected the deputy chairman.
Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, MP of Milli Mejlis, Sattar Mohbaliyev, who participated in the meeting, wished success to the new leadership in their future work, gave a number of recommendations, including ordered to eliminate the shortcomings existing in the field trade unions.
He said that efforts should be increased in the direction of regulation of labor relations, protection of labor rights of workers, organization of their social protection, free time, establishment of labor relations between enterprise managers and workers on a normal course, elimination of possible conflicts, protection of legal interests of workers.
Sattar Mohbaliyev also brought to the attention the observance of the terms of the collective agreement signed, the implementation of control over it and regular discussions, as well as the correct use of the accumulated membership fee for its intended purpose.
