On the 27th of January, an event was held in connection with the 30th annywersary of the establishment of Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) organized by the «Xidmət- İş” Trade Union Federation. The event began with a minute’s silence in memory of our heroic sons and doughters who were martyred in 44-day Patriotic War and the playing of the National Anthem. At the event, the Vise-President of the Federation, Jamaladdin Ismayilov, the deputy Chairman of ATUC, Abil Agasiyev, and other spikers talked about the history of ATUC, its development path, directions of activity, achievemnts and problems, as well as its services of labor rights, and the work it has done in the direction of organizing workers’ rest.
At the same time, statistical information about the activity of ATUC in the public
and social life of country was brought to the attention of participants. In the end ,
members of the Federation were awarded this the honorary degree for their
achievements in the work of the Trade Union.
