On January 23, the opening ceremony of the spartakiade, which will be held in connection with the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at “Azersu” OJSC (Open Joint Stock Company). Akif Mammadov, Chairman of the Republican Committee of “Azersu” Farm Workers Trade Union, and Ilgar Taghiyev, Deputy Chairman of OJSC, spoke at the event.
It was reported that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, great preparations are being made in the “Azersu” Open Joint-Stock Company, as is the case everywhere in our country. Many events are planned. For this purpose, the Jubilee Commission was established under OJSC, and the Event Plan was approved. According to the Plan of Events, it is planned to hold conferences on the historical services of the Great Leader in the water sector, prepare a film, articles, a special bulletin and a catalog, visit the media representatives to the Water Treatment Plant Complex, hold spartakia-style competitions, tree planting and blood donation campaigns, an art exhibition and a poetry night.
It was noted that now, with the beginning of the spartakiade, the jubilee events are starting, and 388 employees working in the Society’s apparatus and subordinate institutions will participate in the spartakiade. Employees who won minifootball, tennis, chess, checkers, backgammon, domino and weightlifting competitions will be awarded with diplomas, medals and cups.
