The Trade Union of the Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an event on the occasion of December 16 – the professional holiday of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Mehman Ismayilov, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Javanshir Alkhasov, members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, chairmen of the trade union committees operating in the regional centers and other institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, responsible officials of the Ministry and a group of employees who have distinguished themselves in their official activities.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Trade Union of the MES Employees Mehman Ismayilov congratulated employees on the professional holiday and wished them success in their difficult and honorable work.
Referring to the establishment date of the professional holiday, Mehman Ismayilov noted that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev signed the Order on the establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on December 16, 2005. According to the Order of the head of our state dated December 8, 2006, December 16 is celebrated as a professional holiday of employees of the MES in our country.
Chairman M. Ismayilov emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev’s orders, instructions and recommendations regarding the establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the transfer of a number of important security and rescue agencies to its composition, the improvement of the social situation of the personnel of the Ministry, including the housing and living conditions, as well as participation in a number of events related to the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is a clear example of the high attention and care given to this field.
Mehman Ismayilov noted that the 17-year successful and efficient period of the Ministry is a sure reason to say that the Ministry of Emergency Situations will successfully continue its professional activities in the direction of preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies that may occur in the future. The personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as always, will continue to perform the tasks set by the country’s leadership with higher quality, promptness and loyalty.
In the end, 43 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who distinguished themselves in their service activities, as well as a group of members of the Public Council under the MES, were awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts for close cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
