On November 22, a commemoration ceremony was held for First Lieutenant Rashad Rahimov, a martyr of the Patriotic War, an employee of the Postal Transport Center.
Family members of the martyr, staff of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Transport, Communication and High Technology Workers, co-workers, comrades-in-arms and public representatives took part in the event.
The martyr’s grave was visited, flowers were arranged on his grave, and prayers were read for his soul. It was stated that our esteemed nation never forgets its heroic sons, always remembers them and cherishes their memory. Also, R. Rahimov’s activity, patriotism, and glorious war path were widely discussed.
The family members of the martyr thanked the organizers and participants for the attention shown.
In addition, a commemoration ceremony was held for Elnur Garayev, who was an employee of the Military Security Department and who rose to the height of heroic martyrdom in the battles for ensuring the territorial integrity of our country, in the city of Shirvan. The ceremony was attended by the head of the Shirvan District Executive Power, the deputy director of the Armed Guard Department, the head of the department’s trade union, representatives of the district community, and relatives of the martyr. The participants who visited the martyr’s grave laid flowers on it. At the event, the life, war path and heroism of Elnur Garayev were discussed.
It was noted that the memory of such heroic sons of the motherland as Elnur will always live in the memory of our people. Relatives of the martyr expressed their satisfaction with the attention shown and thanked the organizers for it.
