Sattar Mohbaliyev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), member of the Milli Majlis, expressed these views in his statement to the media.

“For known reasons, the world is experiencing a food crisis, a serious price increase is being observed. One of the important components of the socio-economic policy implemented in our country today is the provision of food security, and comprehensive measures are being implemented in this direction. The development of the agricultural sector, the application of modern, progressive methods in this field are among the factors that serve to increase the level of self-sufficiency with basic food products. We can say with certainty that there is a dynamic increase in the food safety indicators of our country.
