“The head of our state, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, receives the heads of regional executive authorities every time he appoints them, and gives relevant instructions and recommendations. Among the tasks of the president, the citizen factor is in the foreground. The President puts issues such as being among the people, having conversations with them, learning about their problems, taking steps to eliminate them, and ensuring citizen satisfaction as the highest task before them. Every time, we witness that when the President visits the regions, he meets the residents, talks with them, takes an interest in their concerns, personally listens to the problems they face and gives instructions for solving the issues raised. This once again confirms that our state and its leader are always with their people.
Sattar Mohbaliyev, chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan said these thoughts to the media.
“On July 25, President Ilham Aliyev gave detailed information about the works done in the regions while receiving the heads of the executive power he appointed to Masalli, Lerik and Goygol regions. It is known that work in the direction of socio-economic development of regions in our country is being continued rapidly and successfully. Consistent development of the non-oil/gas sector, improvement of the quality indicators of communal services, implementation of large social infrastructure projects are ensured effectively, new enterprises and jobs are opened. This leads to increasing the employment of residents in the regions and improving their social status. Mr. President personally participates in the opening of infrastructure objects and foundation laying ceremonies, gets acquainted with production enterprises, holds meetings with public representatives and entrepreneurs.
S.Mohbaliyev drew attention to the views expressed by the President during the reception regarding the successfully implemented State Programs for the development of regions. He noted that the implementation of state programs related to socio-economic development of regions, approved by President Ilham Aliyev, is of great importance in the development of regions: “The successfully implemented I State Program created new foundations for comprehensive development in different regions of Azerbaijan, moved the progress process to the next successful stage. Within the framework of these programs, more than 3 thousand schools, hundreds of kindergartens and medical institutions were built or overhauled. At present, the “State Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2019-2023” is being successfully implemented, and the work done is obvious.
“During the reception, the head of state mentioned the importance of paying special attention to the families of martyrs and veterans to the heads of the executive power. You know that the families of our sons and daughters who were martyred in both the First Karabakh and the Patriotic War, their parents, as well as disabled persons and veterans are surrounded by comprehensive state care. Apartments and cars are given to them, they are provided with jobs, and consistent and planned work is being done to eliminate their other problems. Families of martyrs, veterans, all war participants have a great reputation in our society, our people always honor the memory of our martyrs with great respect. They were awarded with medals by the orders of the President, they got the status they deserved. In short, our state is always with them.
