Trade unions have always focused on the creation of conditions for workers’ rest, restoration of working capacity, organization of treatment, protection and strengthening of their health, provision of the right to leave for this purpose, and more efficient and meaningful organization of free time during the leave period.
Today, many recreation centers, sanatorium-resort establishments, and health camps operate in the remote corners of our country. Every year, thousands of members of trade unions travel to those places with their families, all conditions are created for their normal recreation. This, of course, is appreciated by the members of the union and creates an incentive for them to work more efficiently.
Chairman of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions (ATUC), deputy of the Parliament, Sattar Mohbaliyev, regularly visits sanatorium-resort establishments and recreation centers belonging to the trade unions, gets acquainted with the conditions created for recreation, talks with the vacationers, and is interested in how they relax.
On July 28, the chairman of ATUC once again got acquainted with the situation in the recreation centers of trade unions located in Nabran settlement of Khachmaz district and Gusar district.
S.Mohbaliyev, who came to the “Khazar” Recreation Center of the Tourism and Excursions Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the housing rooms and cottages where vacationers stay, got to know the conditions created for their relaxation, inspected the dining room and kitchen, toured the area and looked at the newly built cottages. The chairman of AHIK also talked to people who are resting in the center, was interested in their recreation, and learned their opinions and suggestions.
During his stay at “Shahdag” Recreation Center, the Chairman of ATUC got acquainted with the conditions created for recreation, toured the territory of the center, inspected the canteen and kitchen. Vacationers said they were satisfied with the conditions created during the conversation with S. Mohbaliyev.
The next review was held at the “Ulfat” Recreation Center of the Trade Union of State Departments and Public Service Employees. The recreation center built in 2010 has cottages and three two-story recreation buildings, sports fields, a swimming pool, and a large park. All conditions have been created for the recreation of 96 people at the same time, and about 1000 people during the season. The chairman of ATUC also looked at the orchard planted in the territory of the center. It was reported that in the garden there are all kinds of fruit trees characteristic of the climate, including apples, pears, peaches, cherries, cherries, etc. trees are planted.
During the inspection, S. Mohbaliyev also got acquainted with the “Lokomotiv” Recreation Center of railwaymen. It was reported that there are all conditions for normal recreation of visitors. Also, new cottages have been commissioned in the area and others are under construction. The chairman of ATUC looked at the newly put into use cottages, walked around the territory of the center and talked with the vacationers.
After that, the chairman of ATUC came to the “Tahsil” Recreation Center of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers. The recreational complex, opened in June 2013, covers an area of more than 10 hectares. It includes a three-story residential building, cottages, dining hall, gym, soccer and volleyball fields, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, first aid room, internet club, conference hall and other buildings. More than 260 people rest in the center at the same time. The river passing through the territory of the recreation center, which is surrounded by a forest massif on four sides, and the preservation of the biodiversity of the area make it a suitable place for recreation. In total, about 1,500 members of the trade union rest here during the season. The chairman, who inspected the recreation center, familiarized himself with the conditions created here and instructed to strictly follow technical safety rules and cleanliness. The chairman of ATUC also got acquainted with the housing complex under construction here.
Then the chairman of ATUC, who was in the newly built recreation center for cultural workers, was interested in the work done there. It was reported that 12 cottages, each of which can accommodate two families, 6 more VIP cottages, 2-storey fully comfortable residential building, 21 additional luxury rooms in the administrative building, a conference hall, a dining room, and two swimming pools are currently being built in the recreation center, which covers an area of 2.8 hectares. . Also, a large park is being built, a gymnasium and playgrounds are planned for the meaningful organization of recreation of vacationers.
In the end, S. Mohbaliyev visited the “Shafa” Recreation Center of health workers in Gusar district. Doctors on vacation appreciated the conditions created for their rest.

We want the guests to leave here satisfied and satisfied with the conditions created. I would like to note that hundreds of our citizens have been provided with permanent and seasonal jobs in the recreation centers of the trade unions, which is an important contribution to the provision of employment,” the chairman of the ATUC said.
S.Mohbaliyev noted that all the recreation centers on the balance sheet of ATUC are adapted to modern requirements and ample opportunities are created for recreation.
