The head of the Polish Parliament’s friendship group with Azerbaijan, Joanna Lichotska, and members of the group visited the Alley of Martyrs on June 2.
Polish deputies laid flowers at the graves of the sons of the Fatherland who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and visited the “Eternal Torch” monument.
Afterwards, the guests watching the view of the capital from the highest point of Baku were informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs, landscaping and construction work carried out in the city.
During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by MPs – the head of the inter-parliamentary friendship group with Poland Sattar Mohbaliyev, a member of the group Ulviya Hamzayeva and other officials.
