The Baku Marathon 2022 was held on May 15 at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Thousands of sports fans gathered on Baku Boulevard and took part in the competition under the slogan “Win the wind”.
Metromen and 10 people took part in the Baku Marathon, which is an important part of the sports calendar of our country. 6 of them managed to get into the first thousand and were awarded by the organizers.
On June 7, a meeting was held with the participants of the metro marathon at the Metro Workers’ Trade Union (MWU).
Arif Mardanov congratulated the participants and spoke about the importance of the Baku Marathon-2022. He said that such sports events arouse people’s interest in sports and serve physical health. Mardanov thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for organizing the competition. At the end, the participants of the marathon were awarded cash prizes, medals and certificates.
