The winners of the “Best Presentation” competition were awarded

On May 4, the winners of the “Best Presentation” contest organized on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev were awarded.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov, Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Bahar Muradova and other officials.

S.Mohbaliyev noted in his speech that it is important to train potential intellectual-level personnel in further strengthening of statehood, independence, secure future, and their becoming the leading force: “From this point of view, the measures taken in the field of work with youth in our country stimulate the development of Azerbaijani youth, play a big role in their affirmation in society.

The discovery of talented pupils and students, the development of their potential opportunities have always been in the center of attention in Azerbaijan. With the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the political leadership of our republic, a strong impetus was given to the revival of national and moral values, economic and social development, wide opportunities for the reconstruction of the country’s education system, integration into advanced education systems, increasing attention and care for talented children and youth. It has been enshrined in the country’s Constitution and has become one of the main directions of state policy in the field of education.

The chairman of ATUC noted that Heydar Aliyev kept the education issue in the focus of attention while leading Azerbaijan in the Soviet period and paid serious attention to this area: “it is no coincidence that in the 70-80s, 5 new higher education institutions were opened in Azerbaijan during the leadership of Heydar Aliyev and the number of Higher Education people increased from 70 to 100 thousand. In addition, every year 800-900 Azerbaijani young people were sent to study in the prestigious higher education institutions of the USSR”.

According to the MP, the policy of the national leader on education is successfully continued by the head of state Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva: “effective reforms carried out consistently in this area, construction of new schools with all conditions, provision with modern material and technical bases are obvious evidence of this.”

“The organization of such a competition is very important in terms of promoting the life and work of the Great Leader among students. “Our students remember the services of the Great Leader in the statehood of Azerbaijan, the beautiful life he gave to our people today, and also show their talents,” he added.

The presentation of Altay Ali, an 11th grade student of Baku School-Lyceum No. 83, was demonstrated at the ceremony.

Then the winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. According to the results of the “Best Presentation” competition, 5 people were awarded I, 10 people II, 15 people III degree diplomas, and 20 people were awarded certificates.

It should be noted that the competition was organized by the Ministry of Education, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the New Azerbaijan Party, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Educators of Azerbaijan among students of IX-XI grades.
