The “Best Section” review-competition held at the State Fire Protection Service (SFS) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the occasion of “May 28 – Independence Day” has been summed up.
The main purpose of the competition, organized with the support of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was to further improve the knowledge and skills of firefighters in firefighting.
Fire departments of Baku and Sumgayit, as well as Absheron region were involved in the review-competition.
In the review-competition involving 196 participants with 28 teams, the first place was taken by the Fire Protection Department No. 1 of Binagadi District Fire Department, the second place was taken by Yasamal District Fire Department No. 31, and the third place was taken by Sabail District Fire Department No. 25. was awarded.
The award ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Trade Union of MES employees Mehman Ismayilov and officials of the State Migration Service.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mehman Ismayilov congratulated the winners, and then spoke about the importance of the significant day of the competition – Independence Day. M.Ismayilov said that the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, which lasted only two years, has left indelible traces in the history of our statehood, prepared a reliable foundation for the future independence of the republic by strengthening the feelings of freedom and independence in the hearts of our people. The Azerbaijan Democratic Republic has proved that even the most brutal colonial and repressive regimes are not able to destroy the ideals of freedom and the traditions of independent statehood of the Azerbaijani people.
Then the chairman of the Union stressed that the great leader of our people Heydar Aliyev has unparalleled services in the establishment and strengthening of modern, independent Azerbaijan. Thanks to the rich statehood experience, strong will and endless love of the homeland of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who returned to power at the request and insistence of our people, our people escaped the threat of losing its newly restored independence in the 1990s. Today, the progressive Heydar Aliyev’s political course is being continued and developed with great success by the President of the country, Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
At the end, the winners of the competition for the title of “Best Section” were awarded valuable gifts and diplomas by the Trade Union of MES and the State Fire Service.
